"If Walls Could Talk" was written and produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange, best known for his multplatinum recordings with Shania Twain, who sang backing vocals on this track, and programmed by Richard Meyer aka Swayd.

I sincerely believe Dion's version is much better than Vann's boring track...

"Live (for the One I Love)" is the second single from Céline Dion's greatest hits album All the Way... A Decade of Song. It was released on February 14, 2000 in Canada and selected European countries.

"Live (for the One I Love)" is an adaptation in English of the Italian song "Vivre," first performed by Noa and then by Hélène Ségara in the musical Notre Dame de Paris. Richard Cocciante composed the music and Luc Plamondon wrote the words. Will Jennings, who wrote lyrics for "My Heart Will Go On," did an English translation of the song.

"Ma Nouvelle-France" (meaning "My New France") is a theme song that was released as a promotional single on November 1, 2004 in Canada.

"Ma Nouvelle-France" was written by Dion's longtime collaborator Luc Plamondon and produced by Christopher Neil ("Think Twice," "Where Does My Heart Beat Now"). Patrick Doyle composed the music.

The historic drama Nouvelle-France takes place in the middle of the 18th century, as France leaves Canada. The film was directed by Jean Beaudin and features Gérard Depardieu among others.
Contacted five months earlier by the producer Richard Goudreau, Céline Dion's husband and manager René Angélil was impressed by the movie. Then he gave his green light so that the singer could perform the song entitled "Ma Nouvelle-France."

Dion recorded this song on October 3, 2004 in Las Vegas. It was featured on the Nouvelle-France soundtrack (November 19, 2004) and Céline Dion's later album On ne change pas (October 3, 2005).

"Ma Nouvelle-France" peaked at #7 on the Quebec Airplay chart.

There were no commercial singles from this album released in Canada, although five of them went to the radio. Sony Music Entertainment decided to release two singles at the same time, in October 1991: "Des mots qui sonnent" to the pop stations (peak at number 10) and "L'amour existe encore" to the adult contemporary format (peak at number 16). February 1992 saw the issue of "Je danse dans ma tête" (number 3) which won MuchMusic Video Award for Best Adult Contemporary Video. "Quelqu'un que j'aime, quelqu'un qui m'aime" was chosen in July 1992 as the next single and became a hit reaching number 1. Fifth and final single was "Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)." The album was very successful in Canada where it peaked at number 57 but was certified 2x platinum for over 200,000 copies sold. In Quebec, the album was certified Gold the day it was released. Dion chante Plamondon received Juno Award and Félix Award, both in category Best Selling Album.

Two tracks were included only in Canadian/European version of this album "J'ai Besoin D'un Chum" and "Piaf Chanterait Du Rock".

Céline Dion's dream to expand her family has come true.

The singer, 42, is pregnant with twins after undergoing her sixth in-vitro fertilization attempt and turning to acupuncture to improve her chances of a pregnancy, her rep Kim Jakwerth confirms.

Dion, mom to 9-year-old son René-Charles, is 14 weeks along. She will find out the gender of the twins next month.

"We're ecstatic," her husband/manager René Angelil tells PEOPLE. "Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing." !"

"Did You Give Enough Love" is a song by Céline Dion, released in 1993 as the sixth and final single from her sophomore album, Celine Dion. It was released on July 5, 1993 as a radio single in Canada only.

The track was written by Seth Swirsky and Arnie Roman, and produced by Ric Wake.

The promotional CD contained also two remixes of "Did You Give Enough Love:" remix 45" and 12" club mix. The single was released without a cover, but there was a pictured CD.

The black and white music video is notable for being one of Dion's sexiest.

"Did You Give Enough Love" was included also on "The Power of Love" European single, released the next year.

The song peaked at number 19 on the Canadian Contemporary Hit Radio Chart.

February 10, 2010 (LAS VEGAS) - Confirming the buzz that has been circulating for months, Celine Dion announced today that she will be returning to Las Vegas in March 2011 to begin a three year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The brand-new show designed exclusively for The Colosseum will premiere on March 15, 2011 and features 31 musicians, consisting of a full orchestra and band. The show's concept will be one-of-a-kind, centered on capturing the romance of classic Hollywood movies and performed with a stunning visual presentation. Tickets for the first 54 performances from March 15 through August 14, 2011 will go on sale Friday, February 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. PST.

Since yesterday some American media has spread Céline's miscarriage. Today morning "Le Journal De Québec" published the notice confirming that unfortunately Céline lost the second baby she and René were expecting. Here the full info (in French only):

Céline Dion, la star, n’est plus enceinte. Cette deuxième grossesse annoncée en août dernier grâce à une technique de fécondation assistée n’a pas fonctionné. Le couple, qui ne s’est pas découragé, a préféré affronter cette difficulté en privé. Céline, en femme déterminée, s’est même soumise à un deuxième essai en octobre dernier, qui s’est avéré négatif. Mais elle ne lâche pas. Un troisième essai est prévu ce week-end à New York.

C’est ce que confiait hier au Journal René Angélil, son mari et célèbre impresario, lors d’un entretien téléphonique de sa maison de Floride.

« Nous vivons la réalité de la majorité des couples qui font face à ces techniques de procréation. La route peut être longue et ardue. Ça ne fonctionne pas toujours comme ce fut le cas la première fois avec René-Charles. En août dernier, le Dr Zev Rosenwaks croyait que la grossesse était bien démarrée. Or, ce ne fut pas le cas. Nous l’avons su une dizaine de jours plus tard. Nous étions certes sous le choc. »

En privé

Le couple a préféré vivre ces moments en privé, espérant qu’un autre essai allait permettre à Céline d’être enceinte à nouveau rapidement.

« Ce fut négatif. Mais vous connaissez Céline, elle ne lâche pas. Et j’admire toutes ces femmes qui passent par ce processus si exigeant. Depuis avril dernier, elle se soumet à de nombreux examens, à des injections d’hormones et de nombreuses prises de sang. Il nous faut aller souvent à New York. Céline et moi ne sommes pas découragés, car nous avons déjà un fils extraordinaire en René-Charles. Ce n’est pas comme si nous n’avions pas d’enfant. Donc, on fait confiance en la vie et en notre bonne étoile », souligne avec confiance René Angélil.

Un troisième essai

Le couple sera donc à New York ce week-end pour se soumettre à ce troisième essai.

« Les médecins sont optimistes et nous rappellent qu’il est normal dans un tel processus de procréation de devoir affronter plus d’un essai. »

Si aujourd’hui René Angélil sort de son silence à ce sujet, c’est parce qu’il sent la pression de l’extérieur, et que les résultats des autres essais ne sont pas encore concluants.

« Céline et moi voulons surtout dire que nous ne sommes pas découragés, qu’avec notre fils, nous savons que nous sommes des parents privilégiés. Et que nous essayons à nouveau de vivre cette deuxième grossesse avec l’aide de l’équipe du docteur Zev Rosenwaks. »

Fuir la pression

Céline Dion et René Angélil touchent plus que jamais la réalité des couples aux prises avec des problèmes d’infertilité et qui désirent avoir des enfants.

« Les couples qui passent par ces techniques comprendront sûrement notre silence des dernières semaines. Mais aujourd’hui, nous sommes remplis de confiance. Céline est plus déterminée que jamais », affirme René Angélil.

René-Charles est âgé de huit ans. Il est né le 25 janvier 2001.

Céline Dion a eu 41 ans le 30 mars dernier.

Le célèbre couple a toujours dit que « René-Charles, leur fils, était leur plus belle réussite personnelle ».

Précisons que les spécialistes évaluent les chances de réussite des techniques de fécondation assistée à une contre quatre.

« Je sais que les gens qui connaissent les étapes de ces techniques nous comprendront parfaitement », a précisé René Angélil.

Céline Dion a toujours tout partagé avec son public. Ses fans comprendront certainement qu’elle aura voulu vivre cette déception face à cette deuxième grossesse en toute intimité.

René Angélil, qui sera présent le 21 novembre prochain au Salon du livre de Montréal pour partager son parcours avec le public, a voulu que tout soit clarifié avant son retour à Montréal.

La nouvelle commençait également à circuler aux États-Unis.

Voilà mes amies! On a une très bonne nouvelle! On aurra un nouveau disque de Céline pour le printemps de 2010! Ici plus d'infos:

"Nous espérons être bénis encore une fois et être parents à nouveau. Et si ça nous est offert, nous allons embrasser ce bonheur de façon grandiose", déclarait Céline Dion en début d’année 2009. Une façon d’annoncer à ses fans qu’elle souhaitait faire une pause dans sa carrière afin de donner un petit frère ou une petite soeur à son premier fils. Pourtant, dans un courrier transmis par le label Columbia à la rédaction de Musique.evous, un mystérieux "nouvel album" est annoncé pour le mois de mars 2010.
Album live issu de sa dernière tournée mondiale ? Compilation de reprises ? Disque 100% original ? La seule hypothèse qu’on peut vraisemblablement rayer est celle d’un nouveau best-of. Après All The Way (1999), On ne change pas (2005) et My Love (2008), un nouveau Greatest Hits n’aurait que peu d’intérêt... Affaire à suivre !

Par ailleurs, sachez que la plus célèbre des Canadiennes envisagerait de renouveler son engagement avec Las Vegas. "Oui, il y a des discussions en cours avec la direction du Caesar’s Palace qui aimerait bien ravoir Céline, a indiqué son manager de mari, René Angélil. Mais nous avons immédiatement imposé une exigence : Céline devra réduire le nombre de représentations." De 150, Céline passerait ainsi à environ 70 concerts par an à Vegas, débutant dès l’automne 2010. Bien sûr, la venue d’un bébé pourrait bouleverser les projets professionnels de la chanteuse. "Si elle tombe enceinte, c’est certain que le retour à Vegas attendra, confirme son compagnon. On verra si Céline pourra devenir mère pour la deuxième fois, ce que nous souhaitons de tout cœur..."

QUIERO CANTARTE ALGO... DE CÉLINE DION

Yo no sé cómo medir el ser fan de algún artista. Hoy me ha llegado el correo de un fan de "hueso colorado" (como su servidor) de Céline y con el que me he llevado una sorpresa. Resulta que Gabriel ha grabado con su propia voz algunas rolas de Céline y las ha montado en un blog. Me causó curiosidad, lo acepto, por lo que de inmediato me he metido y he escuchado "My Love"... Wow man! Vaya que sí cantas bien! Realmente vale la pena que se den una vueltecita en su espacio.

Él me ha dado autorización para poner las rolitas en Mediafire, sin embargo, creo que vale mucho la pena que visiten su sitio por completo, por lo que mejor les doy los datos de dónde encontrarlo (y así de paso le hacemos comercial al joven! -_o)

Fans Mexicanos (y extranjeros por igual!) hoy se ha anunciado una nominación de Céline en la categoría "Pop en Lengua Extranjera". Las "Lunas del Auditorio" conmemoran las mejores presentaciones en vivo que se llevaron a cabo en nuestro país en 2008.

Esta es la segunda vez que Céline Dion recibe una nominación a estos premios. En 2003 recibió otra en la misma categoría por el álbum "One Heart". Aunque no ganó en aquella ocasión es de notar que en nuestro país se apreciaba su contribución a la música "adult contemporary" (su categoría de música).

La entrega será el próximo 28 de Octubre (día muy bueno para ella y para nosotros pues recordarán que justo ese día en 2008 confirmó que vendría a nuestro país y será el primer aniversario para este blog, por lo que, tener un premio dado a la Canadiense en mi país... pft! sería genial!) así que a estar pendientes!

There will be images from the concerts and backstage, photos of Dion, her family, tour team, dancers, singers, musicians and technicians, Dion intimate moments with her husband, René Angélil, and their son, Rene-Charles. There will be all kind of photographs from walking on the River Thames, in a park with lions, a safari in Africa, to travel in private aircraft, including the arrival of trucks in the early morning in New York City and the spectacular assembling the scene.

"La star Céline Dion est enceinte de son deuxième enfant. Elle réalise enfin ce rêve qu’elle attend depuis déjà quelques années en compagnie de son mari René Angelil. Le couple n’a pas voulu faire de commentaires dans l’immédiat préférant profiter en toute intimité de ce bonheur si espéré. Le premier enfant du couple, René-Charles, a huit ans. Il est né le 25 janvier 2001.

Céline Dion a fait appel à la même grande équipe de New-York du docteur Zev Rosenwaks, devenu un ami de la famille pour être enceinte de nouveau. La star a toujours parlé ouvertement de l’utilisation des techniques de fertilité et appuyé le combat que mène son amie Julie Snyder pour permettre aux couples infertiles d’avoir accès à ces avancées médicales et à espérer vivre le bonheur d’être parent.

Depuis la fin de sa tournée en mars dernier, Céline Dion mettait toutes les chances de son côté pour devenir une seconde fois maman. Il lui a fallu être patiente car à la fin de sa tournée au printemps, très fatiguée, les médecins lui ont suggéré de bien se reposer et de traiter une infection avant de se soumettre à sa technique de fécondation assistée. Ce qu’elle a fait avec grand soin. On connait la grande discipline de la star.

Ses traitements à New-York

Or, il y a une semaine, Céline et René se sont rendus à New-York pour les traitements de fertilité et hier, ils ont appris qu’elle était enceinte. Le temps s’est soudainement arrêté, laissant place à ce grand bonheur. Céline Dion a toujours dit que sa plus belle réalisation était son fils René-Charles et que son plus grand bonheur serait de lui donner un frère ou une soeur et qu’elle pensait souvent à cet embryon congelé à New York laissé derrière il y a huit ans.

À 41 ans, elle savait que le temps pouvait devenir son ennemi mais elle a toujours fait confiance en la vie. « Je n’ai jamais voulu que la chanteuse prenne le dessus sur ma vie de femme et de mère », confiait-elle dans une récente entrevue.

Sa plus grande réalisation

Déjà après le défi de Las Vegas, elle savait que sa seule et grande priorité serait ce deuxième enfant. Cadette d’une famille de 14 enfants, Céline Dion a un instinct maternel tout à fait naturel, inné. Dans chacune de ses entrevues, à chaque fois qu’elle parle de son fils, on a l’impression que pour elle le temps s’arrête. Ce deuxième enfant, son célèbre mari René Angelil l’espérait tout autant qu’elle. Depuis des mois, René Angelil répète que pour les prochains mois, tout ce qui compte pour le couple, c’est « ce deuxième enfant ».

Un bébé printanier

Ce sera donc un bébé du mois de mai pour Céline et René. En février dernier, René Angelil confiait que si Céline tombait enceinte, le retour à Las Vegas prévu pour l’automne 2010 serait retardé. Le célèbre papa disait récemment que les spécialistes évaluaient les chances de réussite des techniques de processus de fécondation assistée à une contre quatre, comme ce fut le cas pour René-Charles.

Or, hier, le couple a gagné le gros lot. « René-Charles est notre plus grande réussite personnelle. La famille c’est la seule et vraie richesse », confiait-il récemment en entrevue. René Angelil est déjà le père de quatre enfants avec Patrick, Jean-Pierre, Anne-Marie et René-Charles. « Je veux porter un deuxième enfant, c’est ce que je souhaite le plus au monde. Mais je ne pousserai pas ma chance. Si ça ne fonctionne pas, je vais comprendre. C’est aussi ça la maturité », nous avait déclaré en femme sage Céline Dion.

"Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)" (meaning "A Boy Unlike the Others (Ziggy)") is a hit song from the Dion chante Plamondon album by Céline Dion. It was released as the second commercial single in France on June 28, 1993. "Ziggy" was also the fifth and last radio single in Canada.

Telling the story of a woman's impassioned love for a gay man, "Ziggy" was performed originally by Fabienne Thibeault in the Starmania musical in 1978.

Céline Dion recorded this song also in English. It was included on the Tycoon compilation in September 1992, which achieved platinum status in France.

There were two similar music videos made for the French and English version (1993). Both of them were directed by Lewis Furey (husband and producer of Quebec actress/singer Carole Laure). The first one can be found on Céline Dion's DVD called On ne change pas (2005). The music video features Dion sitting in the bleachers of a stadium and longing for a soccer player who is preoccupied with teammates. At the end, he is walking up to what appears to be a guy in a pullover with a hood over his head. When the hood is removed as they kiss, it is revealed to be Dion.

Live version of "Ziggy" became a part of Dion's later albums: À l'Olympia, Live à Paris and Au cœur du stade. The song was also featured on two collections: The Collector's Series, Volume One and On ne change pas.

"Ziggy" peaked at number 2 in France and was certified gold for selling 365,000 copies. The song spent almost a year on the chart, including 7 weeks at number 2 position and 18 weeks in the top 10. It was Céline Dion's biggest hit in France since 1983 "D'amour ou d'amitié."

Dion performed this song lately during her 2008-09 Taking Chances Tour.
